A Time Of Change?

There’s so much going on in our Nation today. With political parties at each other’s throats ( liberals vs conservatives) ( Republicans vs Democrats ) and with every news outlet hanging around, just to get the next piece of vital information, I see why many of us are walking around in gloom and doom. Perhaps even confusion for others.

As I sit back and watch our Government fight over our rights and many of the issues that plague this Nation, I can’t help but think what’s next? Questions concerning whether I’m doing enough, constantly plague my mind. Do you think that you are doing enough? Have you drawn your lines in the sand? Or do you believe that we are all in some ways fighting the same battles?

As someone with a call in ministry, I try my best to stay neutral! I have to continue to pray for our President. But when does sitting on the sidelines become problematic? Many of us are and have been impacted by this latest presidential election in some way. Remember, we had to allow therapy dogs into schools to comfort students, once we learned who won POTUS. But whether you were impacted by tax Brackets, racism, fueding with your loved ones, or hearing of reduced funding for underprivileged children in underprivileged areas, we as a Nation have all been impacted in some way.

My point in this blog post, is that it’s alright to not know what to do or say regarding the state of the Nation. Also, God can heal. You will be alright. We will be alright. We are going through a time right now where things we thought were dead are still very much alive. We are facing a time of liberal and progressive change, more than ever before! But God is and will always be in the details. If you feel like you want to be involved, join a local group or Facebook conversation, or join your church in prayer, so you are educated and prepared on all sides. I know that we as a Nation will get through these times. Let’s not give up hope! God always delivers! Xoxo xoxo

    1. Hi Kristen. I agree with what you said about praying for our leaders. At the end of the day God comes first and he said to pray for our enemies. Great read
